The Monroe Symphony League Book Fair will open on Saturday, June 3 at 320 North 4th Street, Monroe. Sale times: Saturday, June 3, 9 AM to 5PM; Sunday, June 4, 1-5PM; Friday, June 9, & Saturday June 10, 9AM to 5PM. An Opening Day fee of $2.00 is charged each adult on Saturday, June 3 only. Entry is free all other sale days, and children are always admitted free. Our gently used donated books are easy on the wallet. Most magazines are 25 cents, and bargains are everywhere. Donations of artwork are also priced to sell, including prints of Jerry Haynes deer painting titled “Woodland Prince”. Book categories: children’s books; classics; history; mystery; cook books; crafts; religion; romance; suspense; science fiction; fantasy; travel; text books; music, including records, CDs, and sheet music; and much more. Monroe Symphony League Book Fair proceeds provide major support for the Monroe Symphony Orchestra and support music education programs for young people.
